Position Title: Supplier quality Assurance Professional JOB Description ISIR (Initial sample inspection report) preparation activities which includes preparing ballooned drawings, creating ISIR format, receiving samples for ISIR and creating a record of the same. Performing Measurement and testing activities as per ballooned drawings and technical specification for ISIR. Preparation of final ISIR report with visual observations in PowerPoint. Verification of raw material test reports against standard mentioned on technical drawing Maintaining ISIR related all data, reports in SAP PS5 along with decision on ISIRs. Sample preparation and analysis of microstructure in development of new sources for contacts. Active role in new part development, understanding part drawings, tolerances and references, study of applicable standards. Handling various testing and measurement equipment’s including vision measuring machine, Density checking, spring force testing, roughness measurement, torque testing, MVR testing Co ordinating for third party testing, inspection activity for ISIR or other analysis purpose. Archiving of samples after completion of inspection. Resolving measurement related queries raised by supplier and providing training to supplier personnel on Siemens’s measurement requirements/methodology. Participating in discussion with CFT and with suppliers’ team whenever required. Joint Inspection of parts at suppliers premises whenever required. Creating solution for technical issues, development of new methodologies, procedures. Support in setting up and commissioning new test equipment. Updating tool life data in data base(iTDB). Qualification/Skills required Diploma/bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with minimum experience of 2-3 years in Dimensional metrology (handling common measuring instruments and VMM etc.) Good knowledge on Engineering drawing reading and interpretation Good Knowledge of GD& T Good Knowledge of Equipment selection and calibration-Shall be able to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job and proper handling of the same. Good Experience of using SAP (PS5) Knowledge of Quality Systems & standards (ISO 9001etc.) and EMS & OHSMS standards. Having certification if Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 will be an added advantage. Should have good knowledge of Microsoft office tools (Excel, word, power point) Should have Time management skill-Shall be able to prioritize the task Should have Good interpersonal skills and shall be cooperative. Should have Independent, analytical, logical thinking (troubleshooting skill) - Job requires one's own ways of doing things, guiding oneself with little or no supervision, and depending on oneself to get things done.
