Job Description
This position reports to the Associate Director, S&OP & WW Demand Planning. The Supply Chain Analyst will complete metric reporting, obtain data from BD information systems in a useful format, and provide analytical insight to assist Specimen Management Supply Chain Planning in monitoring supply chain efficiencies, driving continuous improvement and achieving established service level targets and inventory investment.
- Responsible for reporting key US Metrics: Line Fill, Backorder, DIO and Inventory turns.
- Support the Specimen Management Supply Chain Organization with the preparation of necessary analyses that assist with gaining insight into product line supply availability, inventory position and capacity utilization.
- Responsible for maintaining a repository of Global Supply Chain Reports. The Supply Chain Analyst prepares SAP BI/BW report decks to support S&OP, Demand Review, Supply Review and Inventory Review processes. The Supply Chain Analyst compiles Supply Chain Performance reports by Plant, and/or Regions on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
- Provide daily/weekly/monthly performance dashboards to enable monitoring of Forecast Accuracy, Back-Order, Line Fill, Future Days Supply (FDS) and Inventory Turns across WW Specimen Management.
- Gather data to conduct global leading indicator reviews, create a Pareto of improvement opportunities, run inventory optimization tool and prepare analytical analysis for management review.
- Participate on and/or lead Supply Chain continuous improvement projects and initiatives to meet WW supply chain cost improvement, time improvement and / or quality improvement objectives
- Lead the automation of current processes and analyses to improve efficiency of current Supply Chain operations
- Conduct appropriate levels of analytical analysis and other duties as needed
- Act as BI/BW Super User for Specimen Management Supply Chain Planning.

Qualifications:
- BS Degree in supply chain or related discipline required.
- Must have strong Excel experience.
- 1-2 years of supply chain experience preferred.
- Experience in SAP a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing, warehousing/distribution a plus.
