Job Description

Factory Network Management

  • Adding new ODMs and/or new factory locations to the supply network as well as embracing and pushing innovative models like building boards in Taiwan Factories without undergoing full on boarding and BTB integration.
  • New program initiatives, new SAP initiatives, Business Continuity Plan, and new IT capabilities etc.
  • 3PL/Warehouse Management/Issues, Regulatory issues, Battery Certs; also fielding questions from Intel Geos/Distis to the 3PL like certificates, product pictures, products weight, product ecology information; solving any in-transit quality issues between ODM and 3PL.
  • OS Licenses purchase and enablement of ODMs to call their required DPK's.


Product Forecast/Response to Forecast Build Plan Coordination

  • Coordinates and issues standard Product Forecast and Response to Forecast reports thru B2B processes with key metrics related to changes to Response to Forecast and unsupported Response to Forecast.
  • Conducts regular (weekly) meetings with the ODM once Response to Forecast is finalized to understand (and possibly prioritize) builds based on limited capacity and/or materials.


Capacity Management

  • Ensure ODM's have sufficient capacity to support surges in short term demand, as well as ensuring capacity is aligned to meet long term Response to Forecast requirements (adding SMT/assembly lines as required).


Materials Management

  • Consigned Material
  • Responsible for understanding current allocations and impact on overall Response to Forecast plan and driving appropriate actions including escalations. Scope include Intel and non-Intel consigned parts.
  • Ensures that NUCG Consignment Planner, Intel Consigned Buyer and ODM Consigned Buyer are working in unison to achieve results.
  • Turnkey Material
  • Understands current turnkey shortages and translates to impact on Product Forecast/Response to Forecast and drives priority decisions.
  • Works with ODM and Intel Commercial team to address long term turnkey shortage


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of supply chain expertise
- Factory operation experience
- BS degree or higher.
- Demonstrated Problem Solving Skills
- Strong Leadership capabilities
- Self Directed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience and expertise with ODM suppliers

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
