Job Purpose/Overview:

The Supply Chain Analyst (Contractor) will be responsible for supporting the Supply Chain team with the execution of the Market Distribution Plan. This will involve analysis of available inventory, calculating available to promise, communication with customers, order processing and reporting.

 

This position is for a six-month contract. The shift assignment will be fixed 8 hour day shifts M-F.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Inventory Analysis
•    Calculation of Available to Promise (ATP)
•    Calculation of recommended order quantities for VMI customers
•    Entering orders in Navision
•    Reporting on Market & Royal Canin Inventory Positions
The role requires strong analytical skills, ability to on the fly & MS Excel knowledge. Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
 

Context and Scope:

This role operates in close collaboration with the Market Planning and CPFR (Customer Planning Forecasting and Replenishment), Customers and Finance.  
Market Planning:
•    Scanning daily inventory availability 
•    Calculation of Available to Promise
•    Allocation of volume by customer
CPFR:
•    Communicating with customers on order and availability information
•    Calculating recommended orders for VMI customers
•    Entering orders in Navision
•    Reconciliation of pipeline inventory
•    Creating custom reports as needed

Other:
Adhere to applicable Quality and Food Safety Policies and Quality Management System requirements to ensure compliance to MARS standards.
Demonstrate a quality culture in actions, words and spirit
Other duties as assigned

Education & Professional Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (or close to graduation)

 

Knowledge & Experience:

Excel and spreadsheet skills
ERP knowledge/ skills are a plus
