Supply Chain Apprentice - Advanced Apprentice Level 3 About the role Do you want to shape and contribute to the future of healthcare? Are you passionate about delivering a great customer experience? Do you want to earn whilst you learn? We are looking for a Supply Chain Apprentice at our Sudbury Diagnostics site. This is an opportunity to combine paid on-the-job learning with a Level 3 Apprenticeship with a Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer. Here are some things you can expect to do within the role: Learn and develop an understanding of key departments within Siemens and develop a broad range of essential skills and knowledge. Execute buying strategies to purchase and arrange timely deliveries of supplies and materials for domestic and international purchases. Support the planning department by taking ownership of various reports and metrics to ensure optimised inventory and service levels are met. Manage the supply of materials required to manufacture instruments, reagents and spares ensuring maximum customer service whilst minimizing inventory and physical space utilization. Ensure accuracy and maintain all relevant material master data within the SAP system. Communicate proactively with stakeholders on significant changes in supply, ensuring actions are taken to minimize the operational impact. Comply with the EHS statements, policies, and procedures. To apply, you will need to have the following qualifications and experience: Minimum of five GCSEs at A*– C / 9 - 5 (or equivalent) including Maths and English. Educated to A Level standard C grade or equivalent NVQ/BTEC or HNC in a business-related subject. Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong analytical skills Enjoy collaborating and working within a team to find innovative solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels including with the public as well as senior leadership.
