About Our Team
We are looking for a Supply Chain Customer Quality Engineer who will assist in
driving consistency and continuous improvements in product performance across
Lenovo’s Cloud Service Provider Customer base through Data Analytics. The
candidate will assist the Customer facing CQE team with ongoing support of the
E2E Supply Chain Quality relationship with customers to meet or beat targets.
The candidate will be a primary contact for internal interactions with the CQE
team, the MQE team, and the leadership team.
You will report to Supply Chain Customer Quality Engineering Manager
supporting the CQE team. You will participate in many different projects
together with other functions to grow a broad and deep Supply Chain
background.
What You'll Do
• Establish individual goals, strategies, and procedures
• Assists with E2E SC Client Facing Quality customer relationships to drive
continuous improvements using data analytics
• Review customer’s quality KPIs and help drive product performance to meet
those targets using trend analysis
• Analyze end-to-end customer data and identify opportunities for improvements
• Drive consistency in product performance across worldwide manufacturing
sites and Data Center processes for Cloud Service Provider Products
• Learn to make quick, effective decisions and prioritize your projects to
focus on the ones that have the highest impact to the business
• Facilitate internal and external meetings as necessary to understand quality
data
• Develop and document quality metrics and create presentations/reports to the
customers and your Lenovo team
• Support the existing CQEs in their customer facing roles and grow your own
capabilities to take on customer facing conversations
• Co-work with global teams in sharing customer data as necessary
#### Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Engineering, Industrial
Engineering, or Quality Management related discipline
• 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain Engineering, Supply Chain Operations,
or a Manufacturing environment
• Analytical and Problem-solving skills using data
• Willingness to ‘roll your sleeves up’ and dig deep into Manufacturing and
Field Data
• Project management/leadership skills
• Proven ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at one time
• Ability to overcome obstacles and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Fluent in English, other languages a plus
