The External Manufacturing Supply Chain Engineer's focus is to establish and improve effective processes and systems of planning, sourcing, and procurement for the external supply chain and products. The supply chain engineer understands the business flows and dependencies of different processes such as in planning, sourcing, procurement, and delivery (SCOR model) for the organization. This role will work closely with the vertical and horizontal organizations to establish data systems and tools to improve the business efficiency. The ideal candidate should exhibit the following skills and capabilities:

• Knowledge of the supplier chain business model and process such as planning, sourcing procurement, manufacturing and delivery.

• Skills to comprehend the business requirements and establish the governance structures including documenting process flows and maintaining the consistency of the process execution.

• Analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Skills to apply problem solving and decision-making systematics and ensure that problems are being addressed by the appropriate supply chain partners in a pro-active way.

• Highly self-motivated, take initiative and drive action in an ambiguous environment.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics, Material Science, MBA or related field of study & 4+ years of experience

Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge in Supply Chain Management and silicon manufacturing flows.
Experience in Project Management
