As a member of the Gases & Precursors commodity group within the Fab Materials Organization, the successful candidate will report to the Specialty Gas and Precursor Technical Group Leader and will work with internal partners, and external suppliers to ensure Specialty Gas & Precursor supply lines meet Intel safety, quality, availability and cost objectives. The candidate will act as the primary technical contact for both suppliers and internal partners at all Intel factories.
As a Supply Chain Engineer for Fab Materials, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Resolution of supplier technical and quality issues.
Management of supplier changes; driving critical Intel qualifications.
Conducting supplier quality audits and technical line walks at key supplier sites, tracking and closing gaps.
Lead supplier process control system reviews.
Collaborating with commodity and supply line managers to ensure supply line integrity, and to resolve inventory issues.
Driving continuous improvement projects on safety, quality, reliability, yield, and cost.
Developing strategies to resolve a wide range of difficult and complex supply problems.
Establishing master Gantt and performing a regular review of the project progress with stakeholders.
Providing technical support during material transfers for factory start-up.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. *This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess at least one of the following degrees plus the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or a related field of study with 6+ years of relevant experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or a related field of study with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or a related field of study with 2+ years of relevant Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Intel factory operations or support group work experience is strongly preferred for this position.
Prior experience working with and/or managing suppliers is a plus.
Experienced in Intel's business practices and procedures.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
