The IC Senior Commodity Manager is the primary commercial contact for Integrated Circuits IC commodities for Intel Business Units, which includes partnering with Senior Management, Planning Teams, Engineering Teams, and other critical stakeholders. In this role, you will define and deliver a strategic sourcing plan for the IC commodity to meet availability, cost, and Environmental Sustainability targets without compromising quality and technological requirements throughout all phases of the product life cycle. You will leverage market intelligence to develop and influence supply chain strategies, engage with current suppliers, develop new suppliers, and lead partner organizations in business and commercial planning and execution. You will manage the supplier relationship and supplier performance as the single point of contact for Intel. Externally, you will serve as an Intel Business Unit expert when interfacing with suppliers to drive sustainable and cost-efficient component supply to fulfill Intel BU business needs. Internally, you should be willing to articulate sourcing strategies to senior leaders and stakeholders, contribute to supply chain strategy development and contribute to strategic projects as appropriate.
The successful candidate will be willing to communicate effectively with a wide network of stakeholders and seeks challenges to drive continuous and systemic improvements with multiple functional groups.
As the Supply Chain IC Senior Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Understanding industry trends and BU roadmaps to identify gaps and actions.
- Use commodity, product-specific, and supplier market Intelligence to drive optimal decisions and sourcing strategies.
- Lead supplier selection activities and secures supplier selection alignment with key stakeholders and leadership within the commodity team as well as the BU.
- Develop and executes negotiation plans for contracts and pricing.
- Benchmark costs and prices, ensures affordability targets are understood and met.
- Develop procurement strategy to include allocation, inventory, and utilization strategies.
- Excel at building strategic relationships with suppliers.
- Develop and execute supplier-specific strategies for long-term assurance of supply.
- Develop and manage internal and external relationships to provide sustainable cost, quality, availability and technology solutions while adhering to procurement policies.
- Partner with a diverse stakeholder base to lead and develop multiyear commodity strategies based on business/market intelligence, long-term analysis of the category/commodity and the supply ecosystem.
- Acquire and maintain industry, market and technical knowledge of commodities.
- Lead supplier sourcing, selection and performance management.
- Negotiate purchasing contracts, statement of works and pricing for goods and/or services.
- Drive cost saving opportunities in partnership with suppliers and stakeholders to meet business objectives.
- May develop new supply chain models for new or existing products or services.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess at least one of the following degrees plus the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below:
- Bachelor's degree in technology, supply chain or a related field of study.
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience that can translate to Supply Chain Sourcing.
- This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA and Engineering experience.
- Supply Chain Experience.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
