Job Description
This Director role is responsible for IT Product Data Management (PDM) organization. As head of this organization, you will be working in close partnership with the leadership of the Intel Technology Development (TD), Corporate Planning Group (CPG) and Manufacturing and Supply Chain Organization (MSO) to enable Intel's long-term vision and success for Product Data and Bill of Materials. This position reports to the VP of Supply Chain IT and is expected to lead worldwide definition and delivery teams supporting business functions for product definition, product setup, bill of materials design, downstream data integration/compliance, and application lifecycles across Item, BOM, route processes.

This role is responsible for the for the entire delivery lifecycle, including identifying business needs, managing portfolio prioritization, solution design and delivery. The ideal candidate will bring product data architecture and governance subject matter expertise, industry best known methods, significant IT solution delivery experience, influencing and negotiating skills and a demonstrated track record of delivering high-value business outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Product Data Management IT vision, strategy, and full execution
  • Support PDM data definition and business process re-engineering, strategy, and execution across large complex programs while supporting target architecture roadmaps
  • Quickly build and maintain a trusted relationship with business partners to understand challenges and needs for a One IT approach.
  • Work closely with business partners to analyze and formulate the scope/objectives of the system, design and deliver capabilities to run efficient industry-standard business processes.
  • Support a multi-year tool and technology roadmap, anticipating needs capability requirements
  • Identify metrics to ensure we are delivering innovative, high value, efficient IT services and solutions with best-in-class delivery.
  • Manage the transition of design to execution, including the governance and user adoption required to achieve the desired business outcomes and value.
  • Ensure high quality delivery methodology, leveraging SAFE, Agile and Scrum principals
  • Ensure the security of our IT assets as well as proprietary, sensitive information from external as well as internal attacks.
  • Managing hiring and development of world-class talent, fostering a strong One Intel team environment


In addition, the Director will work closely with the platforms and enterprise architecture team to understand long term strategic changes, full application lifecycle management, plans for landscape simplification, and maintain a long-term skills plan to ensure continued skill growth to meet future needs.


Qualifications

Job Qualifications

  • 10+ years of IT leadership in applications or solution delivery with strong track record of superior delivery results
  • 5+ years relevant domain experience in product data management and product bill-of-materials processes including Item, BOM, Route.
  • Deep functional expertise of complex semi-conductor product data setup process, Bill of Materials designs, and supply chain business processes, creating strategy, and technical expertise of process and systems that support corporate strategic direction
  • Experience and deploying solutions using SAP, Ariba, E2open or similar software platforms.
  • Proven track record of collaboration across multiple IT organizations, business partners and stakeholders; ability to operate in an ambiguous environment, ability to think beyond the current boundaries, question the status quo structure/functions and recommend and effect changes.
  • Established record of success building high-performance teams, developing leaders and driving necessary organizational change.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise IT from business, technology and operational perspectives, knowledgeable of ITIL, Six Sigma, Waterfall and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Experienced at management communication and presentation skills, skilled at influencing relationships with internal business customers at executive and senior management levels.
  • Education- BS or equivalent in a related computer science or engineering. Advanced degree (MSCS or MBA, etc) a plus; relevant Industry certifications a plus.


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in the below:

  • Delivering business results using Agile/SCRUM/SAFe framework.
  • Designing and deploying solutions for product data design and Bill-of-Materials design in semiconductor manufacturing
  • Architecting and Delivering advanced data management solutions for product data design and Bill-of-Materials design in semiconductor manufacturing
  • Managing large enterprise applications and application teams for critical system performance across a broad set of business operations and critical business needs
  • High levels of successful executive collaboration with both business and technical partners across enterprise functions


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Supply Chain or any other related field.
  • Semiconductor Product data knowledge and Supply Chain experience preferably in Bill-of-Materials processes and operations.
  • Experience in architecting microservices solutions in Cloud technologies including Azure and Kubernetes
  • Experience managing software development teams including CI/CD, containers, API management, UI/UX/React, testing automation, version control and other advanced developer tools
  • Experience in design and deployment of Oracle Cloud PLM
  • This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$149,430.00-$261,690.00

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
