Job Description
Carburos Metálicos is a leading Industrial and Medicinal Gases company in operation for over 120 years. We provide industrial gases and related equipment to dozens of industries, including refining, chemical, metals, electronics, manufacturing, and food and beverage. With over 700 employees in Spain, we have a daily capacity to produce more than 1.200 tons of liquid gas, in our 12 production plants and 14 filling plants. Since 1995 it is part of Air Products group.
The opportunity - why would you want to join us?
We are offering an opportunity for a 6-month placement in our Barcelona offices enabling students to take on a role similar to that of a new graduate. You will get real practical work experience, an insight of Air Products and the varied engineering work we do.
All of which will provide you with the opportunity to expand your knowledge of supply chain within industry.
In addition, you can expect:
Your qualification and skills – what we’d like you to have
You are in your final year or have recently graduated from a well-respected European university, with a related degree subject (Chemical or Industrial Engineer) and are available between April to October 2020. You have a genuine passion and interest in analytics and supply chain as this role will require you to work with various data analysis and optimisation platforms. You possess excellent communication and initiative taking skills as you will be engaged with various teams across Europe.
The home contract is to be in Spain therefore apart from fluent English you will also need to speak and write fluent Spanish and any other European language is useful.
