Leading five Logistics Project Professionals and ensuring that Siemens’ standards, policies, guidelines and procedures in procurement, logistics operations and compliance are fulfilled, Being the process owner to further develop and promote transport scope & warehouse optimization projects and contract logistics-based activities, Driving x-BU programs and projects and have an active cooperation with BU's to use connections and optimize competitiveness through savings, performance and quality in the logistics processes across all business types, Providing required methodologies, tools & skills to run process assessments and streamlining, automation as well as near-/offshoring towards the respective business units’ needs, Focusing on improving logistics processes by automating, digitalizing and integrating processes in a lean manner, Encouraging local logistics community including all your collaborators within SI to secure active collaboration as well as set standards and govern logistics processes in parallel with global SI Logistics strategy, Leading tender structuring and contract negotiations both for conventional & business specific logistics topics also belongs to your area of responsibility. What I need to qualify for this role? • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or equivalent with several years of experience in Supply Chain Management / Logistics and financial background, • Experience in different operational and strategical supply chain logistics functions and significant experience in structuring and handling large strategic projects, • Being an advocate of digitalization coupled with experience in steering an organization within a global and changing environment, • Expertise in planning as well as strategic concepts and convince with strong analytical skills, • Having the strength to quickly grasp overarching business processes and new conditions, question them and work out the optimal solution, • Able to travel regularly to our external partners and provide an excellent command of English & Turkish and intercultural experiences.
