Eaton’s Electrical Division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Washington, PA location. Position Overview: The Supply Chain Manager will be based out of our Washington, PA facility of Eaton’s Crouse Hinds, B-Line and Oil & Gas business and be responsible for continuous improvement activities to optimize the material value-chain. Eaton's Supply Chain Management (SCM) team creates bottom-line impact by driving cost management and operational benefit. In addition, our SCM team drives efficiencies which improve cash flow and contributes to growth and improved working capital by leveraging processes and tools. In this function you will: Key plant supply chain resource at the Meadowlands facility for anything related to Purchasing, Logistics, Inventory, SIOP functions and drives or participates in initiatives to improve performance in all areas of Supply Chain Manages a buyer/planner for PreFormance Department and acts as a sourcing agent/buyer/planner to support Steel Department production Supervises the activities of the shipping/receiving associates and a parts room attendant. Performs supervisor tasks as required and provides counseling to improve performance, following established facility procedures Ensures sufficient material is available to support production on-time, while not procuring excessive inventory that will be prone to obsolescence. Works with Operations to improve processes and coordinate disposal of E&O as assigned Develops or maintains vendor relations and resolves issues as required. Negotiates best cost for parts and collaborates with Corporate Sourcing on mid to large scale cost out opportunities Generates and maintains current and accurate purchasing records and documentation to facilitate future decision-making and contributes to an accurate accounting inventory valuation Resolves purchase order workflow errors that prevent or delay receipt of goods or supplier payment Approves requisitions and purchase orders for the facility up to assigned limits Works with shared services team to improve PO generation process and reduce PO discrepancies Assists in the annual physical inventories by resolving count/location discrepancies Assists in other areas as assigned by Plant Manager to support daily operations Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Institution Minimum 3 (three) years supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment. Minimum of 1 (one) year of experience in a leadership role No relocation is being provided. Candidates must live within a 50 mile radius of the Washington, PA facility to be considered for this role. Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree from an accredited institution Proficient in MS Excel, Advanced knowledge required Minimum 1 (one) year of experience working with a large scale MRP system; Oracle, SAP, MFG Pro, etc. APICS Certification We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
