Eaton at Haina, Dominican Republic is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This role will support CPD PCD Haina business. Main responsibilities are detailed as follow: PRIMARY FUNCTION: To provide vision and leadership by planning and directing the efforts of the Supply Chain processes, including materials Planning, Scheduling, Purchasing, Customer Service, Shipping and logistics, in alignment with the execution of all company policies, procedures and programs in support of the Eaton’s goals and objectives. Lead and/or support projects and/or initiatives based on business needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Leadership to ensure the day-to-day operations of the materials management, cost out projects, material optimization, customer services on time, shipping and invoicing, customs (inbound & outbound) in compliance with local & international laws, planning, procurement / purchasing Responsible to lead Haina SCM Section Managers to achieve prescribed objectives associated with Inventory Management, Service Planning, and Procurement. Ensure tools for inventory management, SIOP, sourcing and supplier resource management are deployed and sustained, to optimize the use of material providing maximum production efficiencies and service to customers, with minimal levels of inventory. Ensure the timely manufacture and distribution of finished goods that meets and/or exceeds the expectations of both external and internal customers Ensure adequate supplier management encompassing on-time delivery, quality while maintaining good vendor relations and establishing cost reduction programs. Manage Logistics function and Procurement processes for Contractors, Services and common MRO’s for Haina Campus. Develop department procedures, guidelines, and objectives. Attain cost improvements and cost reductions aligned to business objectives. Support the effort to build organizational capabilities and bench strength through functional excellence, training, and coaching. Drive initiatives to improve supply chain processes driving synergies with manufacturing, quality, Lean, human resources among other functions to achieve business goals and maximize resources. Actively participate in profit planning and strategic planning process leading supply chain key initiatives Daily/weekly verification of inventory and service levels, to provide plant management an accurate forecast, actions in a weekly/monthly basis. Responsible for driving improvement projects as defined in plant operating factors. Responsible for updating and maintenance scorecards, dashboards, EPM metrics and actions. Perform specific functions to this position described in the Quality Manual. Maintain 5’S for the areas assigned. Responsibilities related to Health, Safety and Environment (EHS): Attend and Perform all EHS training assigned. Promote MESH processes and policies to all employees in supply chain in Haina. Provide all resources needed to ensure that all MESH policies and procedures all performed by his/her personal under his/her supervision. #LI-MM3 Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor’s degree Engineering (Industrial, Electric, Mechanic, Mechatronic,), Business Administration, Economics or related areas. Preferable a master’s degree or MBA (international business or other field) Minimum experience of 10 years in similar positions. Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish). PC knowledge, Microsoft Office. Prefer: AS 400, Knowledge: Lean tools, project management, ERP Systems, Inventory Control and D.R. Custom Laws. APICS Certification.
