Eaton’s Critical Power & Digital Infrastructure Division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Raleigh, NC Plant (RPO) Relocation will be offered! Are you up for the challenge? Lead the Supply chain function for the Raleigh Plant Operation with approximately $350M in sales annually. Key Supply Chain related functions include Materials planning, scheduling, and ordering activities associated with the delivery of specific customer products, direct and indirect material purchasing, direct source material, inventory control, cycle count and warehousing. In this function you will: Manage and direct supply chain personnel in the planning, scheduling, procurement, and inventory control of material to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels. Work with corporate commodity teams on supplier performance and cost out programs. Manage current and future demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements Analyze data, including enterprise requirements planning information and prepares consolidated managerial reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure plant/product line optimal Supply Chain execution Ensure correct planning parameters and transaction disciplines are utilized in order execution systems (SAP) to ensure proper order generation and inventory balances Manage material cost and schedule impact of proposed engineering changes in addition to taking necessary action to ensure successful implementation and incorporation of approved engineering releases Evaluate operational performance of the group in order to facilitate performance management Meet or exceeds key metrics of days on hand, gross inventory, plant and supplier on-time delivery, days payable outstanding, cost savings, cycle count accuracy, supplier invoice on-hold metrics, and profit plan/budget forecasts. Manages inventory levels in order to continuously improve inventory & Day-on-Hand targets. Provide oversight for the accuracy of physical inventory to assure the timely fulfillment of customer orders while maintaining inventory levels that are beneficial to the overall operation of the company Foster an environment that promotes Eaton’s vision, encourages continuous improvement while aligning with supply chain functional requirements (i.e. Materials Management Assessment) Support SCM strategic initiatives and helps to lead related functional SCM/OpA assessments Support SCM organizational capabilities and bench strength through functional excellence, training and coaching. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor Degree from accredited institution Minimum 5 years of supply chain experience Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of ISO or Quality Systems Strong ERP system skills – SAP Master’s degree Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) Lean or Six Sigma application in business processes Ability to lead cross functional process improvement teams Position Criteria: Full Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) and order generation process logic Thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling purchasing, supplier selection and management, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operation and shipping/receiving Detailed knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets as they relate to materials management Problem solving; ability to coach, demonstrate and drive continuous improvement processes Demonstrated ability to influence in a matrix organization Programs that are offered globally, but program availabilities may vary by site.
