Responsibilities:


Procurement / Supplier Management

  • Planning and managing procurement and inventory activities.

  • Resourceful in sourcing for new products.

  • Negotiate contracts and keeping within budgetary requirements.

  • Formulate and implement Supplier Management Plan.

  • Responsible for sourcing of supplier and established supplier selection criteria.

  • Responsible for price negotiation and resolving of suppliers’ product quality issue.

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnership and relationship with suppliers.


Planning

  • Coordinating and overseeing manufacturing operations in-order to forecast orders and meet customer demands.
  • Analysis past and future inventory demand, inventory trends and make forecast to minimize wastage or surplus.
  • Analyze and estimate the usage of materials and manpower for production line.

  • Drive continuous improvement on master scheduling, forecast and production planning.

  • Conduct monthly capacity and performance analysis to ensure forecasts and schedules are aligned and integrated.

  • Maintain records of production and shipping schedules.
  • Reviewing and implementing processes and policies to increase efficiency of operations.


Inventory Control / Cost Reduction

  • Execute demand flow verification processes, engage in short- and long-term planning and conduct inventory analyses for warehouse utilization and manufacturing coordination.

  • Check the material availability to support production requirement.

  • Continually and systematically reduce material costs and inventory levels.

  • Work across organization to ensure solid inventory management strategies and tools are applied to meet company objectives for purchasing, planning and cost reduction.

  • Accountable for the stock over in the items and safety level.

  • Optimizing operational resources while executing cost reductions and inventory controls.

  • Analysis risk activities and propose best factory cost effective solutions.


Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Statistic or related disciplines.
  • With 5 years related experience, of which 2 years will be in a supervisory role in electronics manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge about supplier management, sophisticated in cost analysis and forecasting.
  • Detail-minded with very strong negotiation, problem solving, analytical and communication skills.
  • Good organization and planning skill.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese included Mandarin and Cantonese.
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese Word Processing, SAP experience is a plus.
  • Overseas travelling will be required.
