Supply Chain Manager
Job Description:
According to the company’s values and strategy expected SCM to be aware of opportunities for improvement and implementation of these as well as to contribute to a smooth workflow and a good work environment in own Department and across the organization.
The primary tasks consist of:
Lead the department including purchase and logistic function within the organizational structure. Availability of raw materials, half-finished products and at suppliers and subcontractors on the basis of demand and forecast. SCM have responsible for the entire logistics flow including goods receiving, purchasing, goods shipping for purchased parts, produce parts and subcontractor parts.
Responsibilities:
Coordination:
- Lead department and make sure that all kinds of information such as product purchasing and delivery planning can be smoothly and timely communicated.
- Make sure product supply can be properly arranged to meet sales demands and minimize changes.
- Manage material data in SAP for inventory level, quotation.
- Communicate critical information as-needed to improve visibility and efficiency of materials management across teams
Purchasing
- Build a strong network of reliable local suppliers
- Handle and proactively follow-up on purchased materials
- Track on-time delivery, ensure process for long time delivery items
- Prepare procurement contracts for own company and ensure a good relationship with suppliers
- Handle and proactively follow up on purchased materials for production and stock
- Manage supplier evaluations
Stock
- Responsible for internal warehouse safety, manage warehouse with accurate and efficient warehousing process.
- Lead warehouse team for material receiving, goods delivery to ensure supply chain running smoothly.
- Provide analysis of stock aging and status, warehouse management, good received, stock taking ,checking & packaging
- Stock controlling raw materials, purchased materials and semifinish products
Logistic
- Supervise import process & claim issues;
- Deliver goods on time;
- Manage and communicate shipment details as needed
- Create and optimize working process to ensure accuracy, efficiency and safety;
- Optimize packing, loading and delivery method for cost saving;
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proactive, self-driven, energetic, ambitious and result oriented with focus on (the importance of) “in time” delivery
- Outstanding computer skills, specifically with the Microsoft Office software
- Full understanding of the interdependencies of forecast, planning, purchasing, production scheduling, production, inventory and logistics processes is required
- A desire to work in an international culture, across multiple time zones
- MRP system experience, SAP experience.
- Strong management skill and good communication skill
- Experience with manufacturing environment and processes.
- Solid business sense and business acumen
- Knowledge of general processing of hardware
- Skills in English on negotiation level as you will engage with stakeholders across the organization
