Job Description
Primary Purpose of the position:
- Develop, design, integrate and manage a sophisticated order to cash process. Develop and implement order to cash strategies and establish policies, procedures, performance expectations and metrics to ensure reliability, speed, convenience, and best perceived value to the customer
- Drive improved Customer service through a Customer Collaboration strategy and align organization and blocks of work to the vision
- Define and drive success pillars of Customer Supply Chain. Align customer SC strategy with Align Distribution Strategy; Collaborate with management teams to ensure all aspects of customer supply chain are well developed and maintained throughout product lifecycle to ensure superior customer experience at a high level of efficiency
- Identify and apply principles that enable continuous quality assurance and process improvement. Align technologies and processes to maximize service delivery
Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, integrate and manage a sophisticated order to cash process. Develop and implement order to cash strategies and establish policies, procedures, performance expectations and metrics to ensure reliability, speed, convenience, and best perceived value to the customer
- Provide regional guidance, strategic direction and on-going support to the Country Customer Service Org to ensure easy of doing business with our customers
- Collaborate with management teams to ensure all aspects of customer supply chain are well developed and maintained throughout product lifecycle to ensure superior customer experience at a high level of efficiency
- Handle specific OTC and Customer SC projects and provide expert knowledge and experience of supply chain operations; including EDI, VMI, CPFR, Customer Data Systems (Retail Link, Vendor Pulse, Retail Solutions, True Demand, etc), Transportation, Warehousing
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Operations or related field, master degree is preferred
- 10+ years’ experience in supply chain related functions (required), preferably within a retailer or manufacturer planning, demand planning, raw material planning or other related discipline
- Thorough knowledge of Demand Planning and the order to cash process, related transactions, policies, guidelines and performance measures
- Complete understanding of order management processes and associates performance metrics
- Multi-unit experience in Supply Chain and Logistics functions
- Experience with S&OP process
- Leadership of complex, cross functional projects including setting scope, reaching consensus, successful execution, and presenting results (required)
- Strong Subject Matter Expertise: Supply Chain, Customer Collaboration, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales & Marketing
- Strong Business Acumen: Strong analytic and planning skills with ability to develop and report performance metrics. Strong numerical skills and business judgment
- Demonstrated team Leadership: Build strong teamwork within and across organization. Exert a “take-charge” ability tempered with willingness to delegate and empower as appropriate
- Effective stakeholder engagement and communication: Build strong relationships with the senior leaders of the organization and external suppliers
- Strong Strategic Thinking: Align business and order management strategies, identify and apply best practices, solve complex problems under time pressure, take appropriate risks
- APICS certification preferred
- SAP SD&MM experience is preferred
