Job Summary The Supply Chain Manager is responsible of all the planning, purchasing and logistics within the Organization in regards the Value streams assigned to the site to assure materials and information flow and to meet customer expectations on time. The position must be a leader and a driver to meet the company SQDC goals. Therefore, customer satisfaction and Souriau-Sunbank’s reputation can be greatly affected by the Supply Chain Manager performance to work closely with the Management team and its Supply Chain Organization to provide direction, visibility and decisions to maximize capacity utilization, resources, and customer priority Tasks: Develop the skills of the Personnel on the Supply Chain Organization Supervise activities, workload and training of the Supply Chain Organization Manage the Purchasing area for Raw Material and MRO required to produce on time Monitor and lead for Continuous improvement for the company metrics Lead the Implementation of the Operating System and pursue the excellence on its processes Participate in the SIOP process to understand potential gaps and address them with the multifunctional team Monitor Inventory value and lead initiatives to improve inventory metrics Manage a Master Production Schedule of the site Value Streams and publish to Operations Drive root cause analysis and create countermeasures for Supply Chain misses Lead the Schedule Attainment metric working together with Manufacturing On time delivery and Past Due are the main KPI for this position Special Requirements: Experience on MTO/MTS environment Experience with Mfg-pro preferred but not required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal, facilitating and team building skills APICS certification preferred Proficient skills in Personal Computing (ie: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) Experience managing people Strong leadership skills Dedicated team player, committed to continuous improvement. Multi-task flexibility. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, high degree of attention to detail. Strong sense of urgency. Decisive, fair, consistent; stress tolerant in a fast paced, results oriented environment. Qualifications Education and Qualifications Industrial Engineering, Administration or similar bachelor's degree 5 or more years of Experience on MTO/MTS environment Strong understanding of material management, JIT, MRPII, WIP tracking, shop/floor dispatch, domestic and international traffic, scheduling and capacity planning Experience in Supply Chain and a minimum of 3 years in a Management position.
