This role will require robust experience in a broad range of Supply Chain and Life-Cycle Management processes and close cross-functional and regional collaboration to successfully ensure uninterrupted supply of products to patients in the distributor markets (LATAM).

Responsibilities:

Supply and Demand Planning

Monthly demand planning in alignment with commercial, Regulatory and Regional Operations Leader strategies

Planning of launches, tenders and regular demand to give visibility to site planners

Analyzes and loads unit demand forecast and purchase orders from LATAM distributors in Amgen’s ERP system

Analyzes brand/SKU mix trends and reports on key performance metrics (e.g. forecast accuracy, forecast bias, On time in full, etc.) and drives the establishment of consensus forecast when required

Operational Excellence Projects/Initiatives

Ensures master data accuracy of planning parameters inside Rapid Response and SAP

Supports product launches and lifecycle management events (variations) in close collaboration with ROLs, as well as any global initiatives

Aggregates and reports regional KPIs on a timely manner to appropriate global and regional forums

Elevates issues as necessary to ensure patient supply and minimize scrap across LATAM

Support regional and global initiatives (like: E2E Visibility, Inventory Optimization Project, and Segmentation program).

Basic Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or bachelor degree
  • 4 years of directly related experience
  • Pharma experience
  • Fluency in English, in oral and written communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree in Supply Chain.
  • Operations or Business with 6 years’ experience in supply chain (demand and supply planning, product life cycle management).
  • Experience to include forecasting production planning/master scheduling, S&OPs and monitoring inventory levels within biotech/pharma industry
  • APICS, CPIM or CIRM certification(s)
  • Cross-functional Leadership
