As Amgen ANZ continues to grow, this is a key position in implementing the ANZ strategy and product planning. This role will require close collaboration cross-functionally to establish new & maintain existing supply routes, supply sites, distribution models, set up systems, manage variations, and overall product supply coordination.  This role does not have people leadership responsibility but involves working closely within Supply Chain, Quality, Finance and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure Amgen’s products are in stock and available to supply to our patients in Australia & New Zealand. A background in Pharmaceutical supply chain will be essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for product launches, Life Cycle Management, demand and supply planning for ANZ Commercialization of assigned product(s).

  • Responsible for undisrupted patient supply, supply risk assessment and mitigation plans

  • Ensures timely planning of finished product using Anaplan, Rapid Response & SAP as tools of choice to communicate ANZ requirements

  • Proactively identify operational excellence opportunities and drive ANZ improvements and cost savings by leveraging sharing forums

  • Develops ANZ network supply strategy with Global Supply Chain and Sites

  • Contribute to preparation and review of supply agreements and regulatory documentation

  • Responsible for ANZ regulations and requirements being clear and incorporated into the regional process

  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain and/or business

  • A proven track record in Pharmaceutical Product Commercialization, Life Cycle Management, Planning, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Development and/or International Supply Chain Operations

  • Understanding of marketing principles and competitor practices

  • Strong analytical skills (incl MS Excel) and ability to summarize findings

  • GMP knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical regulations

  • Full Work rights and residency in Australia mandatory
