Job Description

Job Title: Supply Chain Manger

Report to: Site Director

Business Unit: DHC

Location: Chifeng

The Challenge:

All the different functionalities like Production, SHE, Commercial, Engineering & Maintenance and Quality has to work closely together to serve our customers and minimize the total cost of ownership.

  • SCM plays a key role in aligning these functionalities in an organization with still a low maturity level and missing an insight in their role how to reach the overall business goals.

  • This position must also ensure that all SCM functions are working in compliance with SHE/Quality requirements and meet DSM ethic & Value guideline.


The Position:

  • Develop or contribute to the development and implement supply chain strategy, plan and operations that will enable to achieve the supply chain objectives.

  • Define and implement performance indicators and ensure periodical reporting of actual performance against these indicators.

  • Monitor the execution of the supply chain plans and take corrective actions, in order to achieve the results.

  • Define service agreements and boundary conditions with the business managers.

  • Optimize the integral supply chain and minimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and operating Working Capital whilst meeting agreed upon customer service levels.

  • Manage the order handling and delivery, distribution, logistics, warehousing, inventory, packaging and transport.

  • Manage the purchasing function running in a cost effective environmental, sort out the appropriate procedure to manage the contractor, supply and vendors. Ensure DSM stands in economical operational level and closely with our partners.

  • Ensure that the Marketing & Sales, Manufacturing organization are aligned with the supply chain objectives and plans and able to realize the demand and supply chain objectives.

  • Be responsible for all SHE aspects, related to the execution of the SCM and logistic processes.

  • Be responsible for all quality aspects related to the execution of the SCM processes (with respect to both internal and external quality requirements).

The Ideal:

  • BSc in SCM/Management or Above Minimum 10 years’ experience in related field.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in manufacturing industrial supply chain background.

  • Experience in SCM management

  • Prior leadership/supervisory experience is required.

  • Good communication and social skills

  • People management skills

  • Be familiar with Word, Excel, PPT.

  • Good oral and Writing English skills
