Role Summary

The Specialist of Asia Supply Chain Operations for Exclusive Brands reports directly to the Asia Supply Chain Senior Operation Manager. The main position duties encompass daily PO fulfillment and vendors operation management; providing business analysis to cross-functional teams, supporting system running and participating or leading operational programs. The major partner will be Channel Operations, Sourcing, Global Product Management, and Asia Logistics & Compliance, supplier’s Operations and Supply Chain teams.


Key Responsibilities

1) Fulfill Management 30%

  • Operation data set up activities in system include vendor, new SKU, new country, new business EDI setup and other related business tool setup completion.
  • Be responsible for PO data maintenance in order management system(SAP/SQL/PIM)
  • Coordinate shipment forecast interaction with vendor to make sure demand & supply are balanced with reasonable inventory level (WOS)
  • Monitor vendor PO fulfillment status, responsible for daily vendor PO follow-up include mass production, ex-factory schedule, vendor booking & PO shipping status
  • Anticipate any potential issues and solve it in advance to ensure vendor OTRQ


2) Operation Management 20%

  • Manage vendor daily operation to ensure smooth PO delivery to the required destination according to request ship date.
  • Evaluate and verify vendor internal process to align with ExB requirement. Focus on process optimization to drive efficiency.
  • Collaborate with vendor to manage key components base on the demand and supply situation.
  • Deep diving on vendor’s capability, fully understand vendor SWOT through control, planning, production to logistic capability and build out action plan to eliminate risks.
  • Partner with global business team to execute special promotion/peak season program communication and plan
  • Vendor/SKU EOL period smooth manage in order to mitigate the impact to business
  • Working out training material for different level vendors, lead the new vendor on-board training to help them understand the BBY business process
  • Run regular business meetings/visits. e.g. QBR, production check


3) Analysis and Reporting 20%

  • Regular review business performance with existing data / key facts and provide input for status analysis.
  • Base on the business analysis and understanding, build out workable action plan to improve performance, optimize process and deliver cost saving solutions.
  • Provide necessary data / reports to cross functional team to support discussion and decision making.
  • Generate operation business report which is required by manager, e.g. key product launch recap etc.


4) System & Process Development 20%

  • Act as owner/super users to well manage operation systems. Train and guide users to leverage systems to increase working efficiency.
  • Support to optimize current procedure (SOP) of the Operation Team


5) Capability Development 10%

  • Participate in operational projects & program for supply chain operation capability development
  • Participate in continuous process and capability improvement (lean) in line with business requirements and sourcing strategy


Experience

  • 2+ Yrs Experience with manufacturing related industry or GPO (global procurement office), acting as the relevant position (Manager or Supervisor) in the areas of Supply Chain& Logistic& International Business function.


Additional Job-Related Requirements

  • Major in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, Logistic
  • Fluent in English speaking/listening/writing
  • Prefer SAP & MRP hands on experience
