Job Description

General Purpose:

  • Ensure supply visibility and availability of worldwide inventory from new product introduction phase through product end-of-life phase for assigned product categories.
  • Act as a focal point and lead all supply chain planning and execution activities including new product introduction, production capacity planning, inventory target management, demand planning review, master scheduling, production planning, supplier build plan execution, sales order ship date commitment, inventory control, data integrity and KPI measurement and reporting for assigned products and associated accessories and spare parts.

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Responsible for coordination of both turnkey and subcontract supply for one or more Corsair product lines.
  • Assume full ownership for planning and supply chain execution of one or more Corsair product lines.
  • Be the operations representative in interactions at all life cycle phases with worldwide Marketing, Purchasing, Engineering teams and Corsair’s suppliers.
  • Ensure new product availability in accordance with new product introduction plan by Product Manager and integrating NPI requirements including initial stocking quantities, accessories and spare parts into production plans.
  • Ensure supplier production capacity is in place to meet Corsair demand.
  • Recommend inventory goals and drive attainment of targets in order to ensure supply continuity and meet expected service levels.
  • Provide supply availability and supply chain planning performance metrics reports.
  • Manage and execute purchase plans for supplier managed and Corsair consigned materials required to support internal or subcontract production.
  • Be the escalation point for all issues impacting supply chain operations.
  • Understand WW (world wide) supply picture for multiple warehouses and manage supply to ensure WW demand is satisfied.
  • Ensure all current backlog has scheduled ship dates when supply is available or when supply is short; upstream reservation system.
  • Understand overall backlog reservation system and serve as backlog to Container Planner.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Production planning, turnkey/finished goods product planning and/or component materials planning.
  • Strong experience coordinating new product introduction (NPI) requirements into plans.
  • Very customer satisfaction focused.
  • Proven project management and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in working with management and suppliers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Business Management or related disciplines or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years planning experience and minimum 10 years total work experience.
  • Ability to speak and read English.
  • Experience using ERP system MRP/DRP tools; Oracle R12, Power BI, Omnify and Smartsheet, a plus.
  • Consume Electronics experience; PC gaming peripheral experience, a plus.
