Job purpose:

• Optimizes work flow and processes of supply chain department.
• Supports data analysis of supply chain planning team with proven data management skills.

Supports the Country SC Manager and the Country Stock Planning Team Manager in achieving the target stock and availability performance, within his area of responsibility

Key responsibilities:

• Demand and forecast for assigned categories. For example:

  • Order replenishment to ensure suitable stock in warehouse and achieve target fulfilment

  • Inventory management to reach target stock

• Support the set up, customization and drives the fine tuning of SAF in the country stores

• Monitors availability and stock days of regular assortment managed via SAF in stores, proposes appropriate actions to avoid excessive stock and to ensure optimal availability to Stock Team, facilitates decision making, and implements decisions

Monitors stock ordering, addresses excessive orders, escalates to Stock Team in case criteria for decision are needed and/or in exceptional situations, performs identified

• corrective actions

• Manages the continuous improvement agenda and keeps in touch with relevant stakeholders, also in other countries and/or at Regional / Corporate level.
  

Skills & experiences:

• Excellent MS Excel skills.

• Knowledge of other programming languages (VB,C,C++) would be a definite plus

• Experience with MS visual studio is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills. .

• Understanding of Supply Chain and, in particular, of the following areas would be a plus:

  • Demand Forecasting principles, (IT) tools, techniques (ex. forecasting algorithms)

  • Target and safety stock management

  • Material Requirements Planning principles,

  • Financial impact of stock management

• Good written/oral English skill
