SECURE POWER is a division of SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC COMPANY, specialized in critical power products and solutions for data centers and applications where power continuity and quality are essential. Product ranges include single-phase and three-phase Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), surge protection, racks, power distribution units, security and cooling systems.

Thanks to his/her knowledge of supply chain flows design, the SECURE POWER Supply Chain Project Manager leads supply chain implementation within New Product Introduction programs, from project kick off, through new products launches in the regions and countries. She/he drives performance follow-up and actions to reach best business performance.

Mission

As part of the SECURE POWER OCP Supply Chain team, the Supply Chain Project Manager represents supply chain in SECURE POWER Offer Creation Process (OCP) programs. She/he acts on both downstream and upstream supply chain, and tackles projects concerning spare parts and/or finished goods supply chain.

SC Project manager main missions are:

  • Translate business needs (Customer Logistic offer, lead-times) into an optimized supply chain design (best flow design in current distribution footprint, stocking policy, inventory management, forecasts…)

  • Follow PMP (project management process) to ensure quality of deliverables and on-time project gates

  • Qualify Implementation of the new flows: use available digital tools for strict follow-up and quick correction when deviations are identified

  • Coordinate supply chain transition (offer phase-in and phase-out) to achieve optimized performance in terms of product availability, on-time deliveries and costs (inventory levels, scrap risk, transportation costs, ...).

The scope of the position is a portfolio of projects introducing or withdrawing offers. The role will interface with many facets of the company, including project managers, product managers, launch leaders, Industrialization teams, purchasing, supply chain planning, order management, distribution centers and factories operations, customs and transport. It involves coordination with cross-cultural teams located around the globe.

The SC Project Manager will communicate on the new offer supply chain design and implementation status to:

  • The project core team through regular meetings and Offer Creation Process deliverables

  • Marketing and supply chain management through S&OP meetings


Qualifications:

Skills


  • Master’s degree in related field

  • 5+ years experience in supply chain functions
    (supply chain planning, manufacturing and logistics)

  • Supply chain leadership through
    strong supply chain planning, material management and flow design skills

  • Ability to influence and convince project
    team on decisions impacting supply chain (offer structure, logistics offer,
    supply chain design and cost structure, transition strategy…)

  • Ability to collaborate with supply
    chain remote teams in a multi-cultural environment

  • Strong communication skills including
    project team education on supply chain, risk assessment and management
    escalation

  • Good understanding of ERPs and
    Advanced Planning Systems
