Key Responsibility
Program Management:
Define opportunities for supply chain rationalization to improve QCD metric across multiple sites
Establish cross functional team including internal (site, corporate, LCC office) and external (suppliers, business partners) to drive project based on aligned communication plan.
Create and maintain project schedule for projects based on agreed project process
Manage project/ process documents
Pro-active drive all project related functions to keep the projects in time, cost and quality
Conduct continuous risk assessment and cost reduction for projects with support from stakeholders
Provide active training on project process and documentation to functional teams and suppliers/ partners
Create and present comprehensive and decisionable projects reports for top level
Document project lessons learnt for continuous improvement and process excellence.
Supplier Development:
Evaluate all aspects of the suppliers to identify opportunities and implement strategies in the areas of on time delivery, risk mitigation, operational efficiency and cost reductions.
Support purchasing directly, leveraging one relationship with suppliers
Oversee and develop all activities related to on time delivery of materials/parts which includes leading the weekly review with critical suppliers.
Responsible for regular reporting of agreed upon KPI’s including, supplier OTD, capacity, business trend, commercial topics and continuous improvement etc.
Provide support to sites, corporate and other stakeholders, establishing goals and development plans
Continuously communicates forecast/demand information to supplier base ensuring capacity is secured and parts are always available
Manage inventory levels in line with supply chain objectives
Support NPI and other transition projects from prototype to full production
Works closely with corporate sourcing to implement strategic sourcing and cost reduction initiatives
Drives innovation and a focus on continuous improvement within the supply chain organization
Support PA, LTA and commercial negotiations.
Adheres to company policies, procedures and ethics code ensuring that they are implemented throughout the business
Requirements
5+ years supplier management experience, familiar with factory operations system
Good at both oral and written English, good communication skills
Project experience needed, PMP certification preferred
Aerospace industry experience preferred
