We are seeking a Supply Excellence/Industrial Engineering Manager for our Henderson, NV location.

 

The Supply Excellence / Industrial Engineering Manager (SEM/IE) is a critical member of the site leadership team accountable for the overall implementation and success of MSE (TPM). As the factory MSE leader, they are responsible for creating transformative change at all layers of the organization by:

  • Partnering with the site leadership team to develop the overall implementation strategy for MSE, then driving accountability to this strategy.
  • Applying Lean manufacturing approach, tools, and techniques to all industrial engineering activity.
  • Conducting and coordinating studies and analysis to identify and quantify:
      • Opportunities or shortfalls in value stream operational and/or direct cost financial performance.
      • Process and product quality and/or capacity constraints and opportunities to increase throughput.
  • The SEM/IE is also responsible for:
      • Managing the IE Tech, Production Scheduler and Training Support while ensuring development of that team and the overall effective progression of the site’s Education and Training Program.
      • Driving overall excellence in customer service and value for the Ethel M® brand on site. 
      • Identifying and evaluating financial opportunities while recommending solutions that will drive overall pipeline effectiveness and continuous improvement for the Ethel M® brand. 

 

What would be your key responsibilities?

 

  • Lead and drive implementation of MSE at the site.
  • Lead the Site IE, Scheduling and Training functional groups
  • Lead site capital plans as it relates to Growth, COGS reduction, and Strategic Priorities. Provide necessary business input on capital plans for infrastructure, obsolescent equipment and foundational commitments of quality, safety, and sustainability.
  • Lead site annual KPI and goal setting process and ensure site adequately tracks and reports all required KPI's.

 

What are we looking for?

 

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelors degree and 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Fluency in English
  • 5 years of experience in Supply or Supply Chain (IE, Technical, Logistics)
  • Previous experience with TPM/Lean, knowledge of TPM/Lean management infrastructure, Lean tools & techniques, Supply and/or Supply Chain applications

 

Preferred requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in TPM Deployment/Program Management
  • Experience in leading step-change initiatives and/or best practice roll out of MSE/TPM in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience developing site strategy and performance goals
