The global external Foundry Sourcing and Management (FSM) group manages the silicon outsourcing for Intel.

• Secure supply through a collaborative manufacturing network
• Under the guidance of the Supplier Account Manager, the Supply Line Manager coordinates cross-functional activities between Silicon Foundry supplier and relevant organizations of Intel, either within the supply chain organization or with involved business groups, to secure smooth operation and resolution of problems related to new products introduction or manufacturing activities at the foundry.

The Supply Line Manager primarily focuses on:

• Proper planning and timely execution of new product sampling, securing the appropriate capacity in the fab, including purchase order alignment, cooperating with technical community for full preparation, and providing transparency of the delivery projection to ensure smooth transition to the downstream steps of work.
• Management of product delivery according to the demand profile, cooperating with Fab, Planning and Business Unit to obtain optimum shipments improvement, negotiating cost and expediting support as necessary.
• Maintain full visibility and transparency on operation health KPI (delivery, quality, yield, system accuracy), building initiatives with operation ecosystem partners to recover or improve supplier performance.
• Develop and maintain partnership with foundry suppliers through constant interactions and regular on-site operation meetings with partners.

Qualifications

• Candidate needs to demonstrate good understanding of wafer fab operations (planning, delivery, WIP management across manufacturing flow), semiconductor manufacturing technologies and quality processes. Successful experience in foundry Customer Service, Customer Engineering position or similar operation function at a customer of a major foundry is a plus.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
