Job Purpose/Overview

The supply planner makes sure that we have the right stock mix and stock levels at our external warehouses, to fulfil customer demands. The Supply Planner takes care of all operational activities that er needed to achieve this goal: correct inventory parameters | replenishment | factory communication | arranging transport | inventory management.
The supply planner is the operational point of contact for our Key Accounts (direct customers) and sales reps.

 

Key Responsibilities 

•    The perfect stock mix at our warehouse

•    Timely replenishment / ordering at our European factories
•    Direct delivery order-management (drop-shipments)
•    Coordinating Value Addes Services: co-packing, cycle count, reclassification

•    Managing the information flow for every single delivery (factory – warehouse)
•    Executing inventory administration: pallet registration | invoice approval | master data maintenance
•    KPI reporting for inventory management (Out of Stock | OnTimeInFull)

•    Troubleshooting on operational issues following up with internal and external stakeholders
•    Participate in logistical reviews within our S&OP process (SMR) and Continuous Improvement meetings

Context and Scope
The Supply Planners play a key role in the distribution process of the Benelux. They have a pro-active mindset dealing with unexpected situations requiring immediate and accurate follow up to keep operations running.
In partnership with the Supply Planning Manager Benelux, they ensure an excellence in the distribution and logistics process with high knowledge of supply processes and systems.
Using the systems and a collaborative work with marketing, the supply planners ensure a full success of promotion campaign, recruitment and all value added services.

 

Job Specifications/Qualifications

Education & Professional Qualifications    
•    University Degree in Supply Chain management or relevant
•    Fluency in Dutch & in English is required.
•   French is a pre.
Knowledge / Experience    
•    2-5 years of experience in planning or logistics.
•    IT literate: high level of Microsoft Office, especially Excel- user level. 
•    1NAV knowledge is a pre.
•    Power BI knowledge is a pre.
