Role Summary: Drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation. Select suppliers through qualification processes. Own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards. Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. Department delivering professional engineering work. Department develops new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations.
Essential Responsibilities: - Set up team objectives and goals that is aligned with the business strategy, establish operation metrics and discipline

• Lead and direct GE Renewable Energy China Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) activities focusing on Electrical and Electronic sourcing quality management including supplier assessment, qualification, and surveillance, control non-conformance and cost of quality, RCA/CA, ensure the product quality meet the requirements
• Manage SQE resources to provide technical guidance to a global supplier base to assure product and process compliance with the drawings and specifications
• Monitor supplier non-conformance performance, and drive root-cause analyses, corrective actions, prevent actions, and process improvements to reduce defects escape and Cost of Quality
• Work closely with commercial, engineering and manufacturing teams to eliminate any barriers that may affect the quality and delivery of sourced components
• Manage supplier fulfillment and effectively tracking PO execution
• Monitoring supplier EHS performance to meet the requirements of GE and government regulations
• Establish a structured approach to improve suppliers’ quality system management and quality reliability, drive consistency and adherence to quality procedures
• Drive supplier SRG compliance
• Coaching the team member.

Qualifications/Requirements: - BS/MS degree from an accredited university or college with major on electrical or electronic engineering

• At least 10+ years of manufacturing, engineering, and quality experience in Renewable/Power equipment for global market in low cost countries;
• International perspective, culturally adaptable with the first-hand experience of supplier quality

management and team leader

• Experience in supplier qualification, surveillance, manufacturing assessment and supplier development
• Strong leadership skill is preferred
• Integrity and responsible, self motivated
