Support Services Administrator

Location:

Exton, PA

 

Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Support Services team, which provides assistance, reporting and training to Technical Support and User Success colleagues. This hands-on role will involve liaising with business colleagues and IT for issue resolution, and improvement of our current reporting and support processes. The successful applicant will work closely with Support Applications Administrators to understand Bentley’s business requirements and deliver solutions for ongoing top projects & initiatives.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Become proficient with features and key technologies of technical support applications used for CRM, contact center, user communities, and escalation processes.
  • Assist with reporting tasks and enhance various aspects of reporting for technical support in Power BI.
  • Proactively respond to colleague enquiries; manage day to day requests and changes related to support applications.
  • Communicate with colleagues at all levels regarding process updates, best practices and ongoing issues.
  • Act as a liaison between users, other internal business stakeholders and IT support, as well as external vendor contacts.
  • Create reference documentation and training material to ensure a smooth learning process.
  • When other team members are out of office, assist with all team backup tasks.
  • Note that this position may require occasional work on weekends or after hours.

 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Education: School leaving certificate is required, University diploma in a science/IT/technical field would be desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge and Experience
    • Must have excellent level of English, both written and oral. First-rate communication skills are critical.
    • Project management skills would be an advantage
    • Preferred candidate would have at least 2 years work experience in an administration, technical or IT position post-education.
  • Technical skills
    • Must be computer literate and be confident with the following software/OS:
      • Windows 10
      • MS Office including Word, Excel, PPT
      • Power BI, QlikView or other reporting application
      • Camtasia or other video editing software
    • Experience with a CRM system such as SAP CRM, Sales Force or ZenDesk is desirable
    • Knowledge of SharePoint, Contact Center software, and/or SQL queries would be a definite advantage.
  • Personality
    • Must be confident to take the initiative and be a self-starter, with a willingness to learn and an inquisitive mind.
    • Be very well organized and have good prioritization/time management skills.
    • Should be able to work through problems independently and come up with suggested solutions.
    • Responsibilities in this position change often and quickly. The candidate should be flexible and able to easily adapt to a wide variety of tasks.
