Ensure compliance to all Legal norms in all areas of responsibility, norms in all areas of responsibility. Maintain Healthiness of complete plant by ensuring on time preventive maintenance in coordination with Maintenance team. Maintain healthiness of all assets required to carry out manufacturing and related operations. Maintain 5S in all areas of responsibility. Participate in trainings related to chemical handling, chemical analysis, hazardous waste handling and disposal and implement the lessons learnt. Train / participate in trainings related to Safe and accurate Material Handling and storage process. Safely carry out Chemical Receipt, Handling and Storage activities. 10.Safely carry out Chemical Recovery and disposal activities in coordination with internal Siemens teams and external government agencies. 11.Coordinate with Production Planning to pull monthly, weekly and daily production sequence. 12.Participate / Conduct daily morning meetings with team to know the information related to production sequence. 13. Check out Healthiness of chemicals/ effluents tanks by carrying out chemical analysis on daily basis or defined frequency. 14.Carry out Surface Treatment activities as defined in WI, DOP etc. 15.Ensure adherence to quality at all stages of manufacturing. 16.Fullfill daily, weekly and monthly Manufacturing targets within specified lead times. 17.Keep a track of consumables consumption and update system on regular basis. 18. Coordinate with quality team to resolve any quality issues to ensure quality output. 19. In Case of Rejections / Losses, update the same in Mtool / SAP with a proper RCA. 20. Participate in quality circle for finding solutions to problems encountered during manufacturing. 21. Prepare weekly, monthly MIS report for review by management. 22. Participate in monthly EHS round to check out for any unsafe area or act and carry out improvements 23.Prepare for and participate in audits conducted by internal and external teams / agencies. 24. Close any observations of Audit by coordinating with proper internal teams. 25. Carry out extra duties allocated as a part of Teams such as Emergency Response Team, First Aid Team, Fire Team and Quality Circles etc. 26. Prepare and regularly update/maintain the documents related to areas of responsibility i.e PD, WI, DOP, HIRA, Chemical Release Document etc 27. Ensure correct transactions in system at every stage of manufacturing. 28. Calculate yearly, monthly, weekly, daily requirement of Consumables and provide forecast to Logistics procurement for on time procurement of the same. 29. Prevent Wastage of all sorts of resources at all stages of Manufacturing. 30. Ensure safety of self and other Team members on continuous basis. 31. Support Maintenance Team for maintenance activities during Yearly maintenance week. 32. Support and carry activities of colleague for whom you are designated as substitute during his absence or leave. Experience required 5-6 Years This role is based in Siemens Vacuum Interrupter Factory Verna Industrial Estate Goa, where you’ll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, countries – and the shape of things to come. Educational Qualification should be Chemical Engineer.
