Advanced (FRANZCOG Training Program Year 5)

This is a surgical fellowship in a teaching hospital in Taichung, Taiwan. It is a paid position with adequate funding to live comfortably in the city.

Previous incumbents have completed over 200 major cases as primary operator during the 12 month commitment; these include laparoscopic, open, vaginal and robotic surgery.

While Mandarin can be a useful skill, it is not essential as English is widely used in the hospital environment; comfort in a cultural sense is more important.
