In this role, you have the opportunity to:

Coordinate, track and inform the IGT Systems Sustainability activities and KPI’s.

To act as the liaison (SPOC) of IGTS towards the Group Sustainability office.

By this to enable that IGT Systems products are designed, manufactured, supplied, installed, serviced and recycled according to the Philips sustainability policy and ensure that IGTS products comply with regulatory requirements related to sustainability.

You are responsible for

  • Acting within and advising on the IGTS sustainability Mission, Vision and Strategy by supports the process owner to establish the sustainability processes, procedures, work instructions and forms

  • Defining and maintaining the IGTS sustainability regulation and standards Roadmap, contributing to the product roadmap to implement the Philips Sustainability policy (such as circular economy, ECO design, environmental design, etc.) and the regulatory sustainability requirements. Align this roadmap with all relevant stakeholders (e.g. Development, Procurement).

  • Informing / Reporting out Sustainability progress to management and Philips Sustainability Office (example: Philips Restricted Substance list progress sheet).

  • Analyzing the impact on changes of regulation requirements and Philips policy & regulations with respect to product, process and competences and setup an implementation plan. This implementation plan is aligned with all relevant stakeholders.

  • Representing IGTS in the Philips Sustainability Office c.q. networks. In this office, the sustainability lead will contribute in maintaining the Philips policies (including reflecting regulation changes) and deploy these to IGTS. Further the sustainability lead will exchange experiences and share best practices with his/her peers

You are a part of

The Norm compliance team, which is in the System design Cluster of IGT-Systems R&D, the team consists of 10 members responsible for the compliance and certification of our systems.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master or PHD Degree in the Sciences, Engineering or Physical Science

  • Familiar with national and international regulations such as: ISO 14001, RoHS II and RoHS III, REACH ( required )

  • Knowledge and understanding of FDA, ISO, and MDD/EU MDR regulations as applicable to Sustainability Management, QMS Management, Design Control, Auditing and CAPA ( required )

  • You have affinity and experience with working with different cultures and in an international and multidisciplinary environment

  • You are a team player, flexible and you are able to work independently

  • You have well-developed project management, organizational and communication skills and the ability to speak effectively with customers and employees in the organization, including the management

  • Business level in English is required
