• Coordinate the implantation of Sustainable Chemical Management actions across the country including trainings, audits, corrective action plan management, etc.
• Provide practical recommendations on how to improve the chemical management practices in Kingfisher’s supply chain
• Engage in capacity building activities with the factories to drive environmental performance forward
• Development of chemical audit, assessing a vendors ability to control chemicals used in the product and in the manufacturing processes with the control of the environmental conditions and risks in the factory
• Identifying any and all , environmental impacts that may cause brand or reputational risk / damage and make proposals on actions that may be taken to mitigate the risk
• As required, attend and raise risks at the chemicals steering group for decisions on actions that may be adopted.
• Maintaining project management controls by updating risk and issue logs and creating CPA’s (plans) for actions that need to be taken.
• investigate and document the control processes needed in the supply chain, that will mitigate the risk for the environment and worker
• Working closely with Group QA, provide input and guidance as required, into corrective action plans (CAPS) for regulated substances
• Creation of SOP – Operating Processes for the control methods used by sourcing offices and QA functions
• Build relationships with key functional stakeholders, engaging with them to understand the full impact of any changes being proposed with the supply chain processes

• Commercial experience gained in retail or sourcing is desirable
• In-depth knowledge of quality and supply chain processes
• Knowledge of the regulatory processes and workings of the enforcement authorities
• English speaker is a must, ability to converse in other languages an advantage
