Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As a Sustaining Operations Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

The Google Pixel team is looking for a talented manufacturing operations professional who can lead all aspects of the manufacturing activities at the CMs. This includes managing a team and ensuring production readiness, capacity, material availability, quality issues, and order fulfillment. You will plan requirements with internal customers and project managers and will execute at partners facilities. This will include managing schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. You will also interact with multiple cross-functional teams and organizations to resolve issues and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the CM factory management for multiple projects.
• Drive manufacturing operational readiness in the factory leveraging partner resources as well as ongoing efficiency and improvement across factories from ramp to EOL. Work with OEM partners to ensure performance targets for quality, turn around time (TAT), and throughput (I/O/S) are met or exceeded from ramp to EOL.
• Work closely with OEMs to manage line bring-ups, qualification, material availability, and quality issues. Secure the right level of capacity based on quarterly and weekly forecast and horizons.
• Lead regular meetings to communicate plans with cross-functional operations and demand planning. Adapt plans based on changing customer requirements.
• Coordinate with OEM factory and Operations/Logistics teams to prioritize critical shipments/orders and ensure orders ship clearly as scheduled. Ensure OEM reporting is accurate and timely.
