Teacher to join our kindergarten team. This dual-role position involves:
1.Teaching 8 swimming classes weekly (ages 2-6, 1 session per class) in collaboration with a Chinese swimming teacher.
2.Delivering 3 engaging English lessons daily to bilingual classes (ages 3-6).
The ideal candidate will combine aquatic safety expertise with creative English instruction, fostering both physical confidence and language development in young learners.

Key Responsibilities
1. Swimming Instruction (50%)
Plan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based swimming lessons following international water safety standards (e.g., ISR or STA guidelines).
Teach foundational skills: water acclimation, floating, kicking, and basic strokes (focus on freestyle/backstroke for older groups).
Collaborate with the Chinese co-teacher to ensure clear communication and consistent teaching methods.
Supervise pool safety, conduct equipment checks, and maintain hygiene protocols.
2. English Teaching (50%)
Conduct 3 immersive English lessons daily (20-30 mins each) using songs, games, and storytelling.
Focus on oral communication, vocabulary building, and simple phonics (e.g., Jolly Phonics).
Integrate Montessori/play-based approaches to align with our bilingual curriculum.
Additional Duties
Track student progress in both domains (swimming skills + language acquisition).
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Sports Science, TESOL, or related field.
Certifications:
oSwimming: Valid lifeguard/water safety certification (e.g., Red Cross, ASHI).
oLanguage: TEFL/TESOL certification preferred (or 2+ years of ESL teaching experience).
Experience:
oMinimum 1 year teaching swimming to young children (ages 2-6).
oExperience in bilingual/immersion classrooms is a plus.
Skills:
oFluent English (native-level proficiency); basic Mandarin is helpful but not required.
oAbility to make learning fun—patience, creativity, and enthusiasm essential!

Salary :28-32K after tax
