People Development Intern

Designation: People Development, Swire Restaurants

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the role of People Development as a business partner of the business
  • Understand the employment cycle and the administration involved
  • Get familiar with the recruitment channels and processes
  • Get familiar with the functions of HRIS and learn to maintain data integrity
  • Develop ability to multi-task, communicate professionally, coordinate with different stakeholders (e.g. managers, team members, applicants, vendors, other departments etc) efficiently and effectively
  • Develop time-management skills, presentation and organizational skills

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end recruitment support for the team, and answer candidates’ and TMs’ enquiries where necessary
  • Check email accounts and respond to external enquiries
  • Check reports and collect reports according to monthly timeline
  • Update team members’ records on systems and prepare staff movement logistics
  • Maintain and update systems, e.g. HRMS, CLMS, SCM and internal portal etc.
  • Prepare regular reporting and internal communications
  • Assist in planning and implementing projects e.g. staff activities
  • Provide research, logistics and administrative support for the team on various projects and daily tasks

Job Requirements:

  • Positive, highly flexible and a strong team player
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese, proficiency in Putonghua would be definite advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Chinese Word processing
