Job Description
Loan and lease syndications are key capabilities allowing a lender to cater to a broader audience and better serve customers, and therefore play an essential role in the commercial finance value generation. At the same time the commercial finance environment is rapidly changing, driven by digitalization, workflow automation, servitization (XaaS), touchless approvals, and advanced sustainability frameworks. To support our efforts to drive new business and profitability in this exciting environment, we are seeking an energetic finance professional to join our team within our Commercial Finance Americas group as Syndications Manager (Buy/Sell). You will report to the Head of New Product Development & Sales Enablement. Your Responsibilities: Further develop our loan and lease syndications strategy, processes, and documentation for the U.S. and Canada to enhance our origination and distribution capabilities Apply originate-to-distribute and syndication strategies (where maximum recommended exposures are reached) to drive revenue and meet profit targets Maintain market and partner database, track activities in CRM tool and support enhancing the internal reporting framework Conduct market sounding and advise on pricing to market, provide marketability opinion for credit approvals and regular updates on market and investor appetite Identify and review new business opportunities, lead process of screening new deals Aid in the negotiation and administration of Non-Disclosure Agreements s and Master Assignment and Servicing Agreements with the target to harmonize the deal flow between multiple partners Execute recurring purchase of receivables from partners Submit deals in systems, deliver seamless transaction execution with minimal oversight and ensure timely and accurate update of deals status in internal systems Maintain a screen between Syndications and Originations to avoid conflicts of interest Prepare Information Memorandums and document packages Work with credit, legal, operations, originations, and other relevant units to finalize transaction documents and to manage the closing process and conditions precedent monitoring Develop and manage relationships with equipment finance entities and other institutional investors such as banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and pension funds Represent Syndications in cross-departmental projects Develop and execute a strategy for our professional market appearance in the equipment finance syndication community and for a streamlined, digital process Shadow team members and contribute to team success in areas such as, but not limited to, development of XaaS (Servitization) products/managed services, pay-per-use products and other new products in alignment with Siemens’ DEGREE framework for sustainability and with a focus on the Siemens’ healthcare affiliates Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analysis, International Business, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field 10 years+ of professional experience in commercial finance in the North American market Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills and a desire to actively develop partnerships Strong commercial finance background which allows you to quickly assess credit profiles and gives you good command over financial contracts, structures, pricing, discounting/ time value of money, and financial statements High level of proficiency in MS Office Products, SuperTrump, and Salesforce Understands the U.S. Healthcare market (additional experience in the following verticals a plus: Digital Industries, Infrastructure, Transportation (over-the-road), Machine Tools, Construction, Material Handling, Food and Beverage, Additive Manufacturing) Organization: Siemens Financial Services Company: Siemens Financial Services, Inc.
