In your new role as Lead Counsel Compliance M&A (Syndikusrechtsanwalt), you take over the functional management of compliance M&A lawyers and specialists for compliance due diligence in M&A transactions You are key contact for Legal and M&A project team and stakeholders in M&A transactions In addition, you give legal advice on all Compliance issues in Siemens M&A transactions worldwide Project work in worldwide M&A projects with specialist lawyers and experts in the field of Compliance and M&A, conducting due diligence reviews with internal resources as well as external consultants and expert calls is a significant part of your area of responsibility You are setting standards and guidelines for Compliance topics in M&A transactions (including post-closing activities and carve-outs) Moreover, you identify measures to minimize compliance risks in acquisitions and divestments (including carve-outs) in preparation for transaction negotiations and expert meetings You are responsible for the management of external consultants on Compliance issues in M&A transactions and the monitoring of legal developments and their impact to our standards Additionally, you conduct contract negotiations with buyers/sellers as well as the law firms involved in terms of compliance relevant issues You have several internal and external interfaces (i.e. internal: All LC CO departments, Compliance und Export Control Business Partners global; external: Law Firms, consultants, auditors) What you need to make real what matters.
