Location: Exton, PA

 

Responsibilities  

• Investigate new cloud features/functionality and evaluate potential benefits
• Develop and enhance automation for deployment, configuration and monitoring of various systems
• 2nd/3rd Tier Application and Infrastructure Support responding to incident tickets
• Updating existing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Work with development teams to drive DevOps-based process improvement
• Troubleshoot and fix build/test/deployment issues
• Identity and implement new tools/processes to maximize quality throughout the release pipeline
• The nature of this role means that some out-of-hours work will be required

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s or technical/2 Yr degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• 3years' experience in IT with an emphasis in Windows Server and related services like Active Directory, DNS, Certificate management, etc.
• Familiarity with full line of current Windows operating systems
• Familiarity with some form of virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, etc)
• Good time management skills
• Solid technical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work tasks/assignments through a help system ticketing system
• Must possess good English written and oral communication skills and the proven ability to present technical information
• Identify recurring issues and drive automated resolution behind them
• Demonstrable knowledge of scripts in some administrative language (PowerShell**)
• Ability to document standard operating procedures for troubleshooting

 

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with ITIL processes, ISO 270001 or SOC2 experience
• Exposure to public clouds (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
