SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORS

Your tasks:

• Install, configure and maintain systems and applications
• Managing incidents and problems on a daily basis to minimize downtime on customer activities
• Understand customer demands and propose best solutions
• Troubleshoot system and applications issues
• Maintain documents, procedures and technical guides
• Report to the team leader about activities and projects

Required skills:

• Customer oriented approach
• Technically curious and having analytical skills
• Self-organized and prioritize work
• Team player
• Ability to work on a shift system (24x7)
• Willing to learn and use new tools/technologies
• At least 2 years of experience in system administration

Technical skills:

• Managing patching and package management, users and permissions. Disks, LVM and filesystems, OS-level networking
• Basic or intermediate knowledge and system administration skills on Windows and/or Linux
• Basic or intermediate understanding of network technologies and protocols
• Basic or intermediate understanding of protocols frequently used by applications (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SSH, etc.)
• Apache, IIS, Nginx, Varnish, CDN: Akamai, CloudFront
• Applications server: Asp.Net, Coldfusion, Tomcat
• DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS

Communication skills:

• Intermediate / advanced speaking, reading and writing skills in English
• Ability to read technical procedures and apply them
• Ability to handle calls in English

Having knowledge and experience in the following technologies is an advantage:

• Database: MySQL,Oracle, MSSQL
• Scripting (Shell, Powershell, Python, etc)
• Web/App technologies
