The incumbents will join our research and development team to take part in designing and developing motion sequence detection technologies and applications with data streams coming from multimedia data sources.

Job Duties:

• Set up a system architecture to support application development for detecting and reporting motion sequences from incoming video, audio, or sensing data streams

• Define technical specifications from user requirements

• Analyze, test, and build technical solution components possibly using artificial intelligence or machine learning methods for turning incoming data streams into detectable motion sequences

• Design and develop cloud-based system incorporating built technical solution components and supporting user access via web or mobile client applications

• Lead and participate in the system development process and provide supervisory, technical, and administrative directions for personnel performing system implementation tasks

• Organize and prepare project reports and specifications

• Plan and conduct system testing and user acceptance test

• Design and conduct user training

Requirements:

Job Duties:

• Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information System, Systems Engineering or equivalent

• At least 3 years of system development experience

• Strong problem-solving skills in developing and implementing software solutions

• Technical experience in handling video, audio, and sensing data, preferably with methods in deep learning, image processing, audio processing, GPU computing, and/or other artificial intelligence techniques and applications

• Working knowledge of using open source software like TensorFlow and software development platform like GitHub

• Programming experiences using Python, .NET, C++, C, Java, SQL, or other programming languages or tools

• Experiences in web and mobile application development

• Good communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese
