Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the incumbent shall work as one of the development team member in a mission critical application providing framework/utilities/library to support the application development. The incumbent shall ensure common and standard implementation of commonly used program unit.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform system design and implementation of common framework/utility/library for mission critical applications
• Perform system development, testing and related support tasks to application development team
• Leverage leading technology expertise to propose appropriate solution
• Mentor junior developers
• Perform R&D on new technology
• Perform technical spike to determine the proper technical approach

The applicant can process either skill sets list below,

• 4+ years hands on experience in Java server side development with knowledge of object-oriented programming, garbage collection and multi-threading, etc.
• Extensive working experience in Spring framework and Hibernate.
• Experience in complex web application such as workflow intensive application.
• Strong knowledge in design pattern and solid experience in mission critical software design.
• Experience in implementing RESTful web service using Jersey or Spring MVC.
• Working experience in writing unit/integration test using JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock, TestNG, etc.
• Working experience in build tools like Maven or Gradle
• Working experience in version control systems Git
• Advantage with experience in ActiveMQ, Terracotta, Swagger, Docker
• Meticulous , Positive, responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently
• Keep abreast of the latest information of technology trends
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills
