As a Strategic Systems Architect, for the advanced heterogeneous integrated packaging organization within the Programmable Solutions Group (PSG), you will define and translate requirements from both government, Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and commercial customers to Intel engineering teams for silicon topology and packaging requirements. You will develop roadmap requirements for optimized package and substrate types to enable customer demand for semi-customized multi-chip packages.
This role is an Individual Contributor who will partner with Customers, Sales, Marketing, Vertical Business Groups, Applications Engineering, Engineering and Operations to evaluate and propose technical solutions, and aid in the development of the long-term business model. Your scope of responsibilities will also include:
Interface to government SMEs and translating requirements to Intel SMEs/Engineering
Translating Defense Industrial Base and Commercial customers’ application requirements, package design, thermal/cooling requirements and operating specifications into technical proposals and scope feasibility of new technology use
Identify and propose new needs for government deliverables (evaluate options in existing contracts)
Identifying commonalities between MCP requirements to reduce re-inventing Substrates/Packages
Coordinate silicon, package and system architecture with the customer and with internal SMEs
Drive long term growth by building relationships, creating strategies, and facilitating technology collaboration with strategic customers.
Collecting requirements and formulate common substrate to leverage either Intel Custom Foundry, Structured, and/or Custom ASICs
Input and feedback to strategic and product marketing for solution and product development and planning.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of working experience inclusive of:
System level architecture and board level design
EDA and Silicon design flow experience
Preferred Qualifications
System Level Architecture in Military and/or Wireless related design
Board Level Design with FPGAs, GPUs, other programmable logic
Product and Advanced Packaging Design

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$145,650.00-$233,190.00
