An Intel Fellow is the highest technical position in the company and is responsible for setting the technical direction of the company. Responsibilities include: guides or leads Intel in new technical directions, proposes new areas for development based on extremely advanced technical judgment and knowledge of Intel's interests, is role model and mentor for less senior technical contributors. May represent Intel as a technical advisor or spokesman on external activities. Appointment to this level is approved by the Executive Office.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience working across the HW / SW boundary including defining CPU and system architecture and implementation of operating system kernel, hypervisor, tool chains, run times, and associated system software capabilities.
Proven track record of driving innovation in the industry, leading cross-industry collaborations to drive standardization and adoption of new platform capabilities
Experience leading cross-group / cross-company / cross-industry hardware and software development efforts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics across a range of audiences.
BS/MS in Electrical and / or Computer Engineering
15 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the development of open standards and open source software
