We are searching for a talented Java and Python Software developer with a Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. As member of the System Debugger Development team you will be developing system debug tools that support that bring-up of firmware and OS kernels on Intel platforms.

As part of a diverse team, you will be responsible for implementing and testing features of the system-level software debugger. Our software is used to enable a wide range of Intel products, from the IoT/embedded segment up to enterprise servers.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications:

• Good knowledge of the Java programming language

• Experience with GUI development

• Experience with the JUnit framework

• Experience with git source code management

• Very good communications skills

• Fluency in English

Preferred qualifications:

• Eclipse IDE development

• Maven

• Strong hold on multi-threading and collections in Java

• Standard Widget Toolkit (SWT)

• Familiarity with client-server architectures and asynchronous mechanisms

• SWIG and/or JNI

• Proven track of open-source contributions

• Knowledge of Python

• Basic knowledge of C/C++

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
