Micron's Taiwan sites include sales and technical support in Taipei along with state-of-the-art fabrication facilities in Taichung and Taoyuan that together comprise the company's DRAM Center of Perfection. The Center's goal is to achieve the most efficient and effective technology transfer and manufacturing ramp by combining front- and back-end manufacturing, product engineering and technology development roles.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree (or above) major in Information Technology or related fields.
• Knowledge in Linux, Windows operation systems.
• Achieving IT-related certificates is preferable, such as LPIC, RHCA/RHCE.
• Experienced at Redhat Linux operation/troubleshooting is preferable.
• Effective Chinese and English oral and written communication skills.
• Need to participate in on-call duty.

• 具備資訊相關證照者佳，例如RHCA/RHCE或LPIC等。
• 俱備 Redhat Linux 操作及除錯經驗者佳。
• 俱備中/英文口語和書寫溝通能力。
• 需參與on-call輪職。

Responsibilities:

• Define, design and implement server hardware and OS solutions, including VMWare and RHEL/Windows platform.
• Maintain systems
  • Maintain systems by keeping them tuned and compliant with company standards for optimum performance and capacity utilization.
  • Maintain systems with the current OS, and software and firmware patches and upgrades.
  • Maintain standards of operations, such as backups, naming standards, and configurations.
• Support day-to-day operations and provide customer support
  • Installation, maintenance and improvement for server devices, including HP blades system and Cisco UCS.
  • Provide 24x7 on-call technical support and expertise for customer issues (participate in on-call duty)
  • Configuration management: Puppet / Ansible
• Ensure the operational health (Security, Availability, Performance, Interoperability and Reliability) of Micron’s core computing resources.
  • Monitor tool management: BMC Patrol, Zabbix, Splunk
• Continually work to improve operations
