In this position, your responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Support our engineers to enable customers to develop client modern PCs (Notebook, 2-in-1s, convertibles, Desktop, All-in-Ones, etc) designs on power management, modern standby power optimization, battery life optimization and meet energy regulation requirements.

• Customer project design support to meet project milestones and time-to-market schedules.

• Perform competitive analysis on power management and power optimization areas.

• Low power component database building.

• Develop SW tools, documentations, collaterals to assist engineers.

• Assist engineers on data collection, database management consolidations and data analysis for report filing.

Qualifications

You should be a student of Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent courses.

Additional qualifications and considerations including:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin to support regional and global stakeholders.

• Experience in project/program management as a team lead or team member is a big plus.

• Good attitude, capable of working together and interact with engineers and team members.

• Good understanding of computer architecture, Intel platforms including board design product specs.

• Good understanding of firmware and software and how they interact with and relate to the hardware.

• Experience in developing software applications will be a big plus.

• Excellent in using Microsoft Office suites especially Excel and PowerPoint to create reports status updates and Excel-based macros for automation.

• Experience in Linux OS environment will be a big plus.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
